For our hunting trip

The 4-R Ranch is located in Hunting District 380 which is renowned for its prime elk and deer habitat. We are close enough to Helena to be convenient yet located far enough in the Elkhorn Mountains to provide a great outdoor adventure. The ranch's 900 acres border the Helena National Forest, providing guests with unsurpassed access to an almost limitless area. The Ranch House is available for rental during the fall hunting season. In addition, camping space with water and power hook-ups can be arranged. We are a long time Block Management partner and adjacent to the Elkhorn Wildlife Management Unit. Block Management is a cooperative program between private landowners and Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP). It helps us (and other landowners) manage hunting activities and provides the public with free hunting access on private land. As fourth generation Montanan's, we are grateful to have the opportunity to open our ranch to all hunters; including those from our local community, those from around the state, and those visiting from out of state.
